Whenever you download anything you’ll notice a new object on your status bar that let you simple data about your current downloads.
Here is how you can remove that object and clean your status bar.
Open userChrome.css in "/Profile/chrome" and enter the following lines#download-monitor {
display: none !important;
}
Now restart firefox and start downloading anything you won’t find that monitor in your status bar.
